The research and development activities of An-eX are focused primarily in the dermal field and include prediction of dermal and ungual permeation, formulation development, formulation evaluation, assessment of bioequivalence, skin penetration enhancement or retardation, demonstration of efficacy, claim substantiation and risk assessment. For example, in vitro human skin permeation studies are routinely performed according to the OECD 428 and other appropriate guidelines.
