COMPANY PROFILE

An-eX is an independent contract research and development laboratory that offers a range of specialist skin services to the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical and agrochemical industries. The company was founded in 1988 by two academics who noted that industrialists were generally reluctant to place contract work within university departments. Concerns were expressed with regard to a wide range of potentially-damaging factors such as: lack of security of facilities and information, undefined protocols, under-trained staff, incomplete paper trail, lack of consistency, slow response time and poor presentation and explanation of experimental results.

A cornerstone in the successful development of An-eX over the past two decades has been the recognition of the vital importance of a thoroughly professional approach to all aspects of the contract research and development process. An-eX has examined the range of inherent problems that are associated with academics as contract researchers and has put in place systems and attitudes within the company which ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled. Development of this management strategy has resulted in both a rapid expansion of our client base and a significant quantity of repeat business from satisfied clients.
